Finding Home

Finding Home is my attempt to document who I’ve been across cities, across loss, across time. I began the series after the death of my father—when grief cracked something open in me, and I realized I needed to trace my becoming before the pieces got too far apart. I was living between D.C., Brooklyn, and Columbus, shifting identities, building new lives, learning how to stay soft through each version of myself.

Each piece captures a moment of where I was, emotionally, spiritually, physically. It’s self-archival, yes, but also deeply intuitive: a visual record of how I’ve learned to carry memory, how place imprints itself on the body, how the search for safety becomes its own kind of map.
